Scotland's Water Sector Map

Interactive Map

The Scottish Government are committed to making Scotland a 'Hydro Nation' where water resources are developed to maximise benefits to the Scottish economy. Scotland’s Water Sector Map is an important tool that will enable developers, businesses, researchers and policy makers to identify the extent and type of organisations that make up the sector, access key information and help to understand the connections between them. As well as illustrating the breadth and depth of water-related expertise and technical capacity that exists in Scotland, the map includes details of facilities across the country that support testing and demonstration of products and processes, thereby adding to the sector’s potential to make an even greater contribution to Scotland’s water economy.
