CRW2024_05 Planning for water scarcity: building resilience and managing water for efficient irrigation

Overview: CREW invites proposals for a c. 9-month capacity building project to produce practical guidance for Scottish farmers and growers on how to effectively plan for water scarcity and manage water efficiently for irrigation, to increase resilience to water scarcity.
Budget: Funding available: £88,000 exclusive of VAT (where applicable).
Project Status: Project in procurement.
Call dates: Monday 3rd March – Tuesday 15th April, midday.

Annex A in the specification makes reference to UKIA documents. We are aware that the UKIA guidance documents are accessible to members only on the website. SEPA have provided a link where some relevant documents are available water-scarcity-guidance.pdf. If required, inclusion of the purchase of relevant guidance documents on the UKIA website, or 1 year membership to UKAI, would be acceptable to include as part of the project budget.
