Type of project: Capacity Building Project

Overview: CREW invites proposals for a c.6 month Capacity Building project develop an interim decision-support framework to inform decision-making about using Large Wood Structures (LWS) in river restoration projects in different environmental settings.

Budget: Funding available is £97,000 exclusive of VAT (where applicable).

SEPA are in the process of producing supplementary guidance on the placement of large wood structures. To receive a draft read only copy of this document, please e-mail CREW Procurement: Procurement@CREW.ac.uk.          

Please note: There is still some internal work required to finalise the language in certain sections of this SEPA guidance, as well as the regulatory principles that are expected to be followed when placing large wood structures in rivers and lochs. As such, this guidance should be treated as draft and is provided solely to support applications associated with this CREW project.
