CRW2022_07: Climate Crisis: informing Scotland’s actionable mitigation and adaptation response to water scarcity
Type of project: Capacity building
Overview: The project aims to inform and prioritise actionable mitigation and adaptation solutions to address future water scarcity challenges in Scotland. The project team will facilitate, via one knowledge exchange workshop, a collaborative discussion with all relevant stakeholders to define critical knowledge needs and important synergies to inform mitigation and adaptation solutions that address water scarcity in Scotland.
Budget: up to a maximum of £60,000.

CRW2022_06: Emerging Contaminants: Informing Scotland’s strategic monitoring and policy approaches on substances of increasing concern
Type of project: Capacity building
Overview: The project aims to inform, prioritise, and coordinate actionable monitoring and policy-based approaches to identify, assess, and mitigate risks from substances of increasing concern to Scotland’s water environment. The project team will facilitate, via one knowledge exchange workshop, a collaborative discussion with all relevant stakeholders to define critical knowledge needs and important synergies to inform transformational change regarding risks from substance of increasing concern to Scotland’s water environment.
Budget: up to a maximum of £60,000.

CRW2022_05: Understanding the relationship between water scarcity and land use in private water supply catchments - a review
Type of project: Capacity Building
Overview: The overall aim of the project is to build an evidence base that includes the spectrum of risks from land use on water scarcity in private water supply catchments. This will inform risk assessment implementation as part of the recast Drinking Water Directive alignment process.
